Primary and nursery schools

At ACCESS we run our very own Primary and Nursery school. Benjamin Nursery has around 65 students across Nursery, and Lower and Upper Kindergarten. Run by four qualified and dedicated teachers, the school is open five days a week, giving children from low-income families a vital start and foundation in education.

Child Development ProgramME

Our four child development centres across Bangalore, in Chellekere, Lingarajapuram, Srirampuram and ISRO Colony, reach out to hundreds of local underprivileged and vulnerable children. The centres are open every Saturday and run special clubs during the school holidays, providing activities and awareness raising sessions on topics like hygiene, child rights and safety. The children also receive help with essentials like school fees, health care and nutrition.

Home based care for GIRLS

Our home-based care programme, which supports vulnerable girls from the community’s most impoverished families, is currently on pause and awaiting relaunch. We are actively working to restart this vital initiative soon.

Tuition centres and summer programmes

Alongside the Benjamin Nursery and the Saturday Child Development Programme, our evening tuition centres and summer holiday programmes ensure year round support for the children we work with.

Sisters Sushma & Soumya

Sushma and Soumya’s parents passed away when they were very young, and they went to live with their grandmother in a one bedroom house. With no money to pay for school fees, ACCESS provided their only chance for an education. Today, the girls are thriving and both finished their education. Now Soumya is working as Technical Analyst and Sushma is working as a Costumer Service Consultant in an IT Company. Souyma told us, “I want to be a social worker and help other people, like we were helped.
